[영어] 안부를 물어봐주는 따닷한 해외거래처 동료

 

몇일전 우리 해외거래처 마씨가 보내온 메일.

어떻게 잘 지내고 있냐고 물어보는 그.

독일 거래처 직원인 그를 작년 23년 11월 거래처 방문시 만나게 됐다.

 

3아이의 아빠인 그. 

학교 선생님을 하다가 적성에 안맞아 현 회사에 취칙한 그.

참 선량해보이고 순수해보이던 그.

 

가끔 지금 회사 동료들보다 그가 더 따듯하고 

속깊은 이야기를 할 수 있다는 것에 

신기하고 감사하다.

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your recent inquiry about my well-being.

A few months ago, as you may recall, we were both facing significant challenges due to the overwhelming workload and the strain it placed on us physically and mentally. 

It was also very difficult to work with my boss T, who is a bit rude and aggresive…

At that time, I was really going through a tough period.

However, I want you to know that I am doing much better now.

 

Thanks to the support and understanding from friends like you, I've managed to overcome those difficulties. 

Your concern and empathy truly made a difference, and I am deeply appreciative of your thoughtfulness.

 

I wanted to share a bit more about how I've been doing lately. 

As you may remember, I had a miscarriage last year and tried to prepare for IVF after that, but it failed, so it was very difficult..

It was quite disheartening at the time, but I've been working hard to bounce back and seize new opportunities. 

Currently, I'm focusing on rebuilding and regaining momentum.

To ensure both my physical and mental well-being, I've been dedicated to regular exercise and self-care routines.

I recall you mentioned that your children had colds last time we spoke. 

Hope they are feeling better and getting more stronger now. 

It’s so nice sometimes we can ask each other’s daily life as you and I are spending most of our time working together each other : )
